I’m James Roden—a teacher, coach, ordained minister, and father. For 20 years, I’ve devoted my life to mentoring students, guiding youth, and standing up for what’s right. In early 2025, I did what any mandated reporter and family member would do: I reported that my intellectually disabled niece had been abused.

What happened next turned our lives upside down.

Instead of protecting my niece, the system arrested me, my 77-year-old disabled father, and my sister—charging us with felonies we didn’t commit. They ignored my niece’s own statements, silenced the truth, and punished those who stood by her.

Now, I’m fighting to defend my name and expose the truth they tried to bury.

This website is not just about my case. It’s about accountability, justice, and the right to advocate for the vulnerable without fear of retaliation. It’s about stopping the abuse of power and standing up for what’s right—no matter the cost.
